Teacher Scholarship

This Award is presented to a new teacher who has recently completed their studies. With this award we support and recognize members of the Black community who have chosen a profession in education. We believe it is important that our children see positive cultural reflections of themselves represented in our learning institutions. This award is presented in memory of Heather Whittaker, a past president of the Mississauga Chapter. For more information about the scholarship, application eligibility, and upcoming dates, see application guidelines.
